Research note / 02What good digital learning
What good digital learning
quality looks like.
A practical orientation to evidence-led assessment of online and hybrid educational provision.
Look beyond the platform interface
A polished learning management system is not, by itself, evidence of academic quality. Digital learning review should consider instructional design, interaction, access, assessment integrity, data handling and continuous improvement.
Proposed evidence areas
- Meaningful orientation and predictable learning structure
- Inclusive access and accessible media
- Authentic assessment and moderation
- Learner support and educator availability
- Evidence of implementation, feedback and improvement
