QUAA   QUALITY & UNIVERSITY ASSESSMENT AGENCYEvidence-based review initiative Institutional status
Integrity & independence

Impartiality is an operating condition.

Policies cannot create independence by themselves; decision rights and real safeguards must make it demonstrable.

Proposed impartiality commitments

  • Reviewers must disclose relevant financial, advisory, academic and family relationships.
  • Decision-making authority must be insulated from sales targets and referral commissions.
  • Members of review panels should demonstrate competence for the scope being assessed.
  • Evidence and report conclusions must not be altered to guarantee a paid result.
  • Review outcomes should not be offered before evidence is assessed and criteria met.
  • Material relationships between QUAA and applicants must be disclosed, and cases declined where meaningful independence cannot be established.

Related institutions

The website does not present a QUAA quality review as an independently recognised accreditation for IEU or any other organisation with overlapping ownership or control. Self-assessment support, where undertaken, must be labelled as such.

Status

This is a preliminary policy architecture. It requires adoption by authorized governance, contracts, reviewer registers, decision minutes, training and periodic audit before implementation can be asserted.
